Mark Hagar is the Managing Member of the Regional Angel Investment Network based in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Mark is a prolific investor and entrepreneur who’s founded, bought and sold multiple firms.

His experience and education in the area of financially distressed businesses has positioned Hagar as one of the foremost authorities on the issues faced by small business owners and he is regularly interviewed by and quoted in media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Fiscal Times Magazine, CFO Magazine and the Associated Press.

His weekly small business podcast, “Your Business Matters” can be found on Soundcloud and iTunes and offers advice and encouragement to entrepreneurs and those who support them.

Mark is a Doctoral Graduate of the School of Management at Cranfield University School of Management in Bedford England and is a member of the Small Business Charter of England. In 2018 Hagar received the Kitty Hawk Best Experiential Education Exercise Award at the International Council for Small Business World Congress in Taipei, Taiwan for his research related to small business failure.

He serves as a Visiting Lecturer at Trine University in Angola Indiana and is a featured guest on the Results Junkies North American Tech Tour as well as the Funding Post VC Fast Pitch Tour.
